The annual conference attracted over 2,500 attendees, including partners, customers and Avaya representatives – not to mention guest speaker and NFL legend Peyton Manning!

As Gold Sponsors of the event, the Aura Alliance team from the UK, USA, Canada, Mexico, Chile and Brazil were on hand throughout the event to discuss the challenges of global deployment and managed services, and how we can help.

In this post, we’ll take a closer look at the key moments of Avaya Engage 2019.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Experiences that Matter

With communication, collaboration and customer experience growing in importance for global organisations, the theme for Avaya Engage 2019 was ‘Experiences that Matter’. It’s becoming critical for companies to provide the right communications experiences for both their customers and employees and as such Avaya is continuously innovating to help companies deliver exactly that.

Following a lively Welcome Appreciation party, Avaya president and CEO Jim Chirico welcomed attendees to the conference. He outlined Avaya’s goals for 2019 – and how they’re aiming to make history, investing in mobility and AI to stay at the forefront of communications.

Eliminating complexity with the Aura Alliance

Our highlight of the second day at Avaya Engage was the presentation delivered by Aura Alliance CEO Tony Parish. Speaking at Customer Connections, he explained the challenges of supporting multinational, multi-vendor applications. Today’s communications landscape is increasingly complex, with multiple vendors, technologies and locations – delivered and consumed in a number of ways.

By highlighting how we helped one of our multinational clients, Tony explained how the Aura Alliance can take the complexity out of global communications:

  • One single provider with complete accountability
  • Multiple platforms and vendors working together seamlessly
  • Consistent service levels across the globe
  • A single, uniform strategic vision for global organisations
  • Flexible pricing for different countries, vendors and providers
  • Taxes, duties and invoices simplified

Success for our Partners

The Aura Alliance booth had an abundance of visitors throughout Avaya Engage. Customers were given expert advice on how to minimise the pain of global delivery, deployments and support, and enjoyed a drink with the team at our sponsored bar.

They also benefitted from the presence of some of our global partners – Belltech, G3 Comms, RT4 and CTI – representing the Americas and EMEA regions. We were delighted to see our partners receive recognition for their world-class services, with Belltech winning LATAM Partner of the Year and RT4 named as the LATAM Innovation Partner of the Year. CTI were also finalists in the North America Partner of the Year category.

Avaya Engage was once again a huge success, providing invaluable information from an array of workshops, presentations and breakout sessions. The Aura Alliance team had a great time meeting with partners and assisting customers with their queries on global communications and collaboration. We look forward to Avaya Engage 2020 in Phoenix, Arizona!
